Also a heads up; Colorado/and the rest of the west/ is still experiencing extremely dry weather, it’s is crazy hot, dry and windy, perfect conditions for fires to start and spread. There are fires burning all over the Western Slope, with a fresh fire outside Leadville that looks to be shutting down the trail thru there, sections 9-11. Hopefully not closed for long, but the fire just started today and conditions are prime.

There’s no significant moisture in the 10 day forecast, it’s scary. So let’s hope for rain as these conditions can all change with some good monsoon soaking. If the moisture doesn’t come there is the possibility that a group start will not be a safe option. Sorry No Refunds!!!😆😁
