Before y’all jump in for the ride please inform yourself about the wildfire situation in Colorado. It is currently pretty awful in Co right now. There’s 30 fires burning, the smoke is at times terrible. There’s a wildfire burning outside of Leadville that has the CT Closed from Tennessee Pass to Twin Lakes. The trail isn’t even completely open right now and fire season usually doesn’t start this early.

Important!!! If Colorado doesn’t receive significant rain in the next few weeks the Group Start will be cancelled!!! Reroutes will not be provided, if the overall picture is still this volatile and dangerous the CTR simply won’t be happening. This is for the safety of riders and if fire were to break out near the route to reduce pressures on first responders. That is no joke, resources have been spread thin already, 3 firefighters have lost their lives and our little race isn’t that important.

Refunds for Trackleaders registration will be available if it’s a no go, there will also be an option to donate your registration $ to the CTF.
