The Colorado Trail Race is a self supported, DIY, Bikepacking style race. No outside support, no teams, no drafting/sharing of gear. No cars, no sag, do it yourself from start to finish. The race follows as much of the CT as deemed reasonable, detouring around wilderness areas and making certain exceptions here or there. Riders are expected to navigate the 100% GPX files available, maps, blogs, the info is here and everywhere.

We ask that all racers, and tourers, of the CT use low impact/leave no trace ethos while traveling on the trail and be polite and kind to the other trail users. The rules are there to provide an even stage for riders to compete and to provide guidelines for experiencing this amazing trail without dramatically changing it. This is imperative to the future success of this event!!!
